A catalog of artifacts across various special collections has been developed as a resource for professors and students to assist in research and presentations or to serve as learning aides. The catalogs are arranged by date and by subject matter to better assist your research.
University Collections contain any items that refer to aspects of University's history and/or operation. Such items include academic & administrative records, biographical collections, and community records.
Over the years, the Archives has received materials unrelated to the history of the University, yet these items have substantial intrinsic & historical value*. The collections also include items related to organizations with which the University has been affiliated, such as the Christian College Consortium (CCC).
The Publications index provides information about articles referring to a relative, an event, or a friend in only a few seconds. The Echo (1913-1920 and 1974 - present)*, the Taylor Magazine (1963-present), the Gem (1898-1920)*, and the Express (1996-2007) are being indexed and can be searched online.
Course syllabi are available for many previous semesters. The Archives retains syllabi from the Taylor's Upland Campus and the former Taylor University Fort Wayne campus and can be requested by contacting the Archives
*Some of the items in these collections have limited access; please contact the University Archivist to verify availability of a given collection.
