Collectively, these document all aspects of University's history. Beginning in the summer of 2009, many Taylor University Fort Wayne (TUFW) documents will be included in the Archive's General holdings.

The Archives accumulates records produced by administrative and academic offices regarding University business that document institutional history. The Archives collects materials pertaining to faculty, staff, administration, students, and alumni/ae. This includes published materials, dissertations and theses, biographical information, articles, personal accounts, and more. At times a sufficient amount of material on a given individual will warrant the creation of a separate collection.

The Archives collects all materials that document curricular, co-curricular and residential aspects of the University. This includes materials related to annual, special and cultural events, lectures, student publications and organizations, residence life, community involvement, ministries, sports, buildings, the physical campus, and more.
