In this section of the web site, you will learn about the Information Literacy initiatives at the Zondervan Library, find out how to partner with the Library to enable students to research better and think more critically, and find resources to help you do this on your own.
Through the Zondervan Library's Instructional Services, we attempt to address the issues of Information Literacy with students in the classroom setting.
Purpose
The purpose of Zondervan Library's Instructional Services program is to provide training for students in the strategies and intricacies of research and the tools available to them, while equipping them with skills for life-long learning.
Place
Instruction sessions will be held in the Flood Lab, a computer lab housed in the Library, or in the Reade Center Lab, each of which holds about 24 students. There are several other locations in the Library where instruction can take place, although some are not equipped with computer stations for each individual.
