The Center for the Study of C.S. Lewis and Friends at Taylor University seeks to facilitate and encourage the reading and study of C.S. Lewis, George MacDonald, Charles Williams, Dorothy L. Sayers, and Owen Barfield.
The Lewis Center is located on the lower level of the Zondervan Library. The focal point of the Center is the Brown Collection. The Brown Collection consists of first editions, letters, manuscripts, photographs, and other items relating to these authors. It is considered to be the third largest C.S. Lewis collection in the world. Reading copies of works by the Lewis & Friends authors as well as an extensive collection of secondary material is available to students and researchers in the adjacent Lewis Room.
