DURING THE FALL 2020 SEMESTER, WE ARE PERIODICALLY EVALUATING IF WE CAN OPEN STUDY ROOMS. SIGNAGE IN THE BUILDING WILL INDICATE WHEN STUDY ROOMS ARE OPEN FOR USE.
At this time, all study rooms in the Zondervan Library are closed. We evaluate every two weeks whether or not we're in a position to open them. We do hope to open them this semester (Fall 2020), but they will remain closed until patrons comply with health and safety guidelines of distancing, individual studying, mask-wearing, and not bringing food into the Library.
During Fall 2020, ZON 142 is not available as a study space. The max capacity for class activity or meetings is 15 people.
This room is intended for use by Librarians for classroom interactions with courses and instructors. Reservations of this space are limited to faculty and staff during typical business hours (7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.) and must be submitted through 25Live. Approval for use may be granted after review, understanding Library use takes precedence and thus use is not guaranteed. This room is not an open classroom for regularly scheduled class times or regularly scheduled meetings. Library staff reserve the right to reschedule any non-Library entity when classroom interactions need this room.
When not reserved, this room will be open to student use on a first-come, first-served basis. However, if the room is needed by a Library staff member, the Library reserves the right to request those occupying the room without reservation to relocate to another space.
To use the technology, you must borrow the appropriate box at the Check Out desk, which contains the passcode, cords, and controls necessary to operate the equipment.
